mattyboy, do you not realize that when you share your feelings about others' "oppions" [sic], you are sharing your own opinion? Thus, everything you said about "oppions" [sic] refers to you, also? Your obvious command of the English language leads me to wonder if you know what an "intelligent conversation" really is. To each his own; but, if you want to be taken seriously with your thoughts on ANY subject, you may want to lose a few vulgarities in exchange for real and deep thoughts, occasionally even -- GASP ! -- using a dictionary and your education. Forgive my sarcasm, as I use it only in jest and for "shock value" to make a point about our lazy brains. We musicians are becoming known as one-dimentional, uneducated morons, inserting vulgar, offensive words in lieu of "intelligent", well-chosen ones. If one writes as though he were talking to Jesus, I wonder how richly our conversations might change. (Yes, by the way, I am a recorded songwriter/performer who has been published by WB, EMI and Sony, to name a few .) God bless you, mattyboy.

I prefer my B.C. Rich Exclusive to any Gibson Les Paul I`ve ever played. I`ve played a few. Most of the other People who`ve played it have said the same!

You all are aware, I hope, that the original "Appetite for Destruction" Les Paul was not a real Gibson, but a hand-made replica with a fake Gibson logo on it (and Slash knew this, because he knew the builder and bought the guitar himself). It did contain real Gibson pickups and the same hardware that Gibson was using. I found it really ironic that Gibson would put out a Slash Appetite for Destruction model when the guitar it was based on was not really a Gibson at all.

Sigh. Prices of Gibson guitars are sky-high nowaday. Besides, beware of counterfeits when purchasing, they're making every famous model of every famous brand name.
