on 02/02/2013 		Have a 6 string EKO Florentine exactily like the one posted in Mike's collection. I'm looking for a white tophat clear dome TONE knob to replace one that is less than perfect. Anyone know where a knob such as this can be purchased or otherwise where the clear dome piece can be bought and I'll reinstall in the present knob that other wise is good.

on 03/01/2012 		Ultra cool! It seems that nothing is that new having been done back in the 60's with the ornate body shapes. And controls up the ying yang! I wonder how they sound...

on 03/01/2012 		The Kustom K-200 has a nut width of 1 5/8" (like most G&Ls), according to Tommy's Guitar Shop, and 1 9/16" (like the Angus Young SG) according to other sources. Come on, it's not THAT thin.

on 03/01/2012 		Randy Backman has an interesting two hour long program on CBC Radio 2 every Sunday afternoon. I love it! Mike Robinson is a smart dude who has been willing and able to pull a few strings in a highly competitive market...Good for him.

on 03/01/2012 		The high end Teisco Guitars are very good, considering that most of the Japanese imports were junk. Iwish I would have purchased a top of the line Spectrum. I always liked their look and features. EKO was also making the VOX guitars in the 60's. Don't forget about the Hagstrom 8 string bass.

on 02/29/2012 		the pickguards on the those Domino instruments weren't 'simulated woodgrain' they were actually WOODEN pickguards!! The top was a nicely figured piece of somethingorother veneer but the rest was luan or something. what is crazy is that the pickguard itself is bound... like, triple bound, with black and white and finally tortoise. It seems like they spent more time and effort on the pickguards than on the rest of the instrument!!
