Davie Allan's Jazzmaster would have been nice to have been seen among that group!

definitely a strange list. personally, I wouldn't say any of those are iconic guitars since seeing any one of them doens't ring bells and bring the guitar player to mind. Examples of iconic guitars to me would be SRV's #1, bb king's lucille, any one of van halen's striped guitars

I saw Greg Allman play a Veleno on Rambling Man with Dickie Betts back in 75 or 76 in Omaha...Ithink that guitar was at the Dallas Hard Rock for awhile. A great live Coral Sitar player is Steve Miller, amazing stuff! Wherer is Jimi H's Angel V? It used to be in Dallas too!

Anyone who has read the Black Strat book about David Gilmour's guitar will atteat to the fact that you'd have to be a dumb ass to give the Hard Rock anything; they handle the items like crap.

this is without a doubt the finest collection of butt ugly guitars I have ever seen

pretty boring stuff, considering what they have -- he could have picked quite a few more interesting guitars. their collection is amazing, and i am glad i got to handle a lot of it during the heyday in the 90s, back when the Memo Dept was hidden in an offsite warehouse unknown to most folks :-)

Now, if they could just get the bass that Novoselic knocked himself out with at the MTV Music Awards...

Not surprising that Kossoff's Junior is the best sounding in the collection, those late 50s Juniors and P-90s are killer.

Why do most of Rick Nielsen's axes look super uncomfortable to play? A sax shaped guitar? Really? haha.
