This Sterling by MusicMan AX-40 in trans-black has an added EVH D-Tuna, original Floyd Rose baseplate and arm, shimmed neck to compensate for the thicker baseplate, custom made brass tremolo block from Killer Guitar Components, brass "Killer Claw" spring claw from Killer Guitar Components, five Raw Vintage tremolo springs, shielded control cavity, complete rewire, push-pull volume pot to split both humbuckers simultaneously, Switchcraft 3-way toggle, modified DiMarzio AT-1 bridge pickup (de-aired and repotted), and modified DiMarzio Norton neck pickup (half-aired and repotted). Chris Harding says, "Plays awesome and sounds great! Trem feels much more solid thanks to the Raw Vintage springs and OFR baseplate, and my tone and sustain have vastly improved thanks to the brass block and claw from Killer Guitar Components. With the coil-taps, I can get some nice Tele/Strat sounds out of it, too. Quite versatile. The pickups sound great clean and have good definition and punch when distorted. I love this guitar!"
