Hot Rod guitars or Junk Yard guitars. What crap. Sanford and Son wouldn't take these in on trade for Schlep car (no offence wonder bug).

Behold, the power of Guitarfetish. I see someone else took 'em up on the factory closeout. I've got a swimming pool body, flamed maple and Ibanez neck that I'm going to slip a SSS pickguard on. It's a reverse tuxedo guard, I'm thinking after I strip the paint, I'm going to go for fireburst, black-red-orange on it, blackout all the hardware I can. Also got a HSH with a strat-like neck that I'm thinking is asking for a hot-rod flaming paint job. By the way, dude with the awesome black hardware tele, how's the Xtrem work for you?

Hey PGS, thanks for posting my Bass on here (the Yamaha 5 string conversion). I hope I'm not being too cheeky in putting a link to my blog on talkbass.com, which is http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f57/new-ba ss-body-yamaha-rbx375-871858/ I've posted start to finish pictures of the entire build, along with some great pictures of the back, which is an awesome bit of wood. Can you still submit for this? How do you, if so? I bought a used Gretsch Junior Jet II, replaced the pickups with Fralin dogear P90s, upgraded capacitors and slapped a Les Paul Junior style pickguard on it, all black.
