ASG Amps Launches “Hybris” All-Tube Amplifier at Winter NAMM


Los Angeles, CA (January 15, 2012) – Artist Series Guitar and CEC Amplification have teamed up to create ASG Amps, with the intent to bring a fresh and original, USA-made alternative to the world of affordable all-tube guitar amplifiers. ASG Amps’ first offering, the Hybris, will launch at Winter NAMM this month.

The Hybris is a two-channel, 100 watt, high gain amp head that packs distinctive tone and broad-range versatility into a simple, user-friendly control set. The amp will retail for $999. Primary specs at a glance:

• 100 watts, all tube
• Tube complement: 4x 6L6GC, 5x 12AX7
• Two channels (clean and lead), footswitchable
• Separate gain and master volume controls for each channel, shared EQ, global presence and resonance controls
• Tube buffered, serial effects loop
• Accepts 4, 8, or 16 ohm speaker loads
• Made in the USA
