BLADE announces the expansion of the Dayton series



Basle, Switzerland (June 29, 2009) -- BLADE announces two new additions to the Dayton series, the Dayton Standard and the Dayton Deluxe.

Dayton Deluxe (DAS-2)
 
Dayton Standard (DAS-1)
The new Dayton Deluxe (DAS-2) sports the same build characteristics of the Dayton Standard with the fatter, thicker tone of two Alnico four based humbuckers mounted on a custom brushed aluminium pickguard.
MSRP $5349
  The Dayton Standard (DAS-1) is adorned with a vintage-colored pickguard mounted with Blade’s VS-1 single coil and new LP-92 Soapbar. Additonal features include an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, three-way switch, Blade Falcon tremolo, vintage style tuners and three-tone sunburst finish.

That's what I'm saying. Who in their right mind is gonna spend that much on a guitar these days. These cats must be nuts for asking this much. Build your own guitars! It's a lot cheaper and you will love much more. Don't get caught up in the madness!

In today" economy who has the money to buy a guitar at this price? Plus, why? I don't see anything here that you really can't buy cheaper.
