Boucher Introduces New 000 12 Fret-To-Body

The 000 12FTB’s body is slightly larger than that of a traditional 000, and the lower frequencies are enhanced as a result.

Montreal, Quebec (June 14, 2012) – Boucher Guitars recently added a new shape to its collection of hand-made acoustic guitars – the 000 12 Fret-To-Body (12FTB). First shown at the 2012 NAMM show and now available through authorized Boucher dealers, this new model features a neck which meets the body at the 12th fret instead of the 14th. The 000 12FTB’s body is slightly larger than that of a traditional 000. The lower frequencies are enhanced as a result, making it an ideal choice for Paul Simon and Jethro Tull-inspired fingerpicking styles.

Its classical-style slotted headstock evokes a 1940s/50s aesthetic, and the neck’s 1 13/16” nut width and ‘V’ profile offer exceptional comfort.

Boucher offers the 000 12FTB shape in three versions:
STU-IN-000-12FTB (MSRP: $3899)
Studio Series, with Signature Grade Adirondack Red Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back & sides

AVT-IN-000-12FTB (MSRP: $4999)
AVT Series, with Master Grade Adirondack Red Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back & sides

AVT-BN-000-12FTB (MSRP: $9999)
AVT Series, with Master Grade Adirondack Red Spruce top and Brazilian Rosewood back & sides Prices include a Hiscox Pro II Case.

Jeez ... these specialty boutique guitars....I can't come anywhere close to affording one of them. (retired, on Social Security.) My personal acoustic is a Rogue 090,$37 used from Musicians Friend. What would you like to bet I can write just as good a song on it as I could on a 5 or 10 thou guitar??
