Ethan,

Could you please expand on your comment..
Your attempt at being political has confused me and many other readers (I'm sure). What exactly is your point?
I have a feeling I'll be commenting on your opinion once I really understand your true position.

ahh, Joe, mismanagement and laziness caused the downfall of SOME of the automakers. it's insane that the people managing GM and Chrysler thought they could ride on "US made" as they churned out car after car that was subpar in design and quality. the government swooped in to restructure and save many people's arses (esp. the workers!) but it's far from a "gov. run" auto industry. just wish it wouldn't have done so for the financial sector...but that was Bush...you calling the Bush Administration a bunch of socialists? back on topic, though: i think it's a shame that any musical instruments are made to perform for less than 50-100 years ("throwaway"). but consumer demand is king...

Opinions will be plentiful when the guitar is played. In the mean time it is certainly nice to see someone in the corporate community make this kind of commitment. Here in Michigan, we believed the "American Made" line to our own demise. Not much was American made and in the end the socialists saw an opportunity for gov. run auto industry. Blessings on Breedlove.
