Breedlove Announces New Passport Series Instruments

New Travel, 12-String and Bass Guitars join this popular and affordable line



Bend, OR (January 2, 2013) – Featuring Custom Design Center heritage combined with affordability, Breedlove Guitars announces 3 new additions to their Passport Series line of instruments. The C200/SMe-T travel guitar, C250/SMe-12 12-string guitar and the B350/SMe-4 bass guitar offer new dimensions to the award winning line of Breedlove instruments.


Breedlove C250/SMe-12

Designed to appeal to the wayfarer soul, the C200/SMe-T travel guitar features a 22.75” scale and standard EADGBE tuning. This instrument excels as a couch, travel or recording guitar and offers big character in a compact package. The C250/SMe-12 follows in the legendary Breedlove tradition of 12-string playability and tone. And the B350/SMe-4 bass features a comfortable 32” scale and the fast-playing neck that Breedlove basses are noted for. Both the C250/SMe-12 guitar and B350/SMe-4 bass also feature the Breedlove Bridge Truss, which supports the bridge, relaxes the top, and offers better tone and increased sustain.

Each instrument also offers the following features:

• Solid Sitka Spruce tops
• Sapele Mahogany back and sides
• East Indian Rosewood fretboard
• Breedlove VTC electronics package with built in tuner
• Gigbag included

The MSRP for the C200/SMe-T travel guitar is $532, with a suggested street price of $399. MSRP for the C250/SMe-12 12-string guitar as well as the B350/SMe-4 bass is $799 with suggested street prices of $599. All 3 instruments will be available as of January 1st.
