DR Strings Announces Dragon-Skin Clear Coated Acoustic Guitar Strings

The new clear-coated strings are designed to have less unwanted overtones, more volume, and greater articulation than standard uncoated strings.

Emerson, NJ (May 5, 2011) -- DR Strings has announced the new Dragon-String acoustic guitar strings with DR's proprietary K3 coating. The new clear-coated strings are designed to have less unwanted overtones, more volume, and greater articulation than standard uncoated strings. DR Strings says they named the new strings Dragon-Skin, "because their effect on performance seems magical."

The sets feature K3 coating on all six strings and come in the following gauges: DSA-11 (11-50), DSA-12 (12-54), and DSA-13 (13-56).

The new K3 coated "Dragon Skins" by DR strings are really quite stunning! I was quite shocked once I strung up my harp guitar and heard them. Loud, vibrant, very balanced with wonderful projection and separation. They last forever, sound fantastic and stay in tune extremely well. Go check 'em out! - Dan LaVoie www.DanLaVoie.com
