Got to play this amp yesterday. It's everything you expect from... well, everything. Fender-like cleans, Tube Screamer-like dirt, and Mesa-Boogie-like overdrive. I played the Celestion V-30-loaded version of the combo, and it's a rockin' amp! I prefer the Celestion sound over the Jensen because of the growl you get out of it. Jensens tend to crunch more. What really struck me was the clarity of the amp. I can basically turn the dirt gain up to maximum and still hear every note of every chord I play. The versatility of this thing is unreal, as well. One of the hallmarks of a 6L6-driven amp is the robust low end and high-pitched overdrive. When you crank the master level and dial back the channel volume, you get a completely different timbre that you can mix. It's a high-pitched distortion sound suited to metal at its highest mix, and more to the Marshall vein of high-gain drive when you go for half-and-half master and channel. This multiplies the versatility of the amp's tone spectrum, and yet you still preserve the smooth, color-soaked overdrive at standard settings. Another nice thing about the gain stages is the tone changes that occur when you sweep the overdrive gain. Past about 2 o'clock on the gain, you don't get much more gain, but you start to get more bass. This means if you leave the dirt channel off and peg the gain, you'll have a Mesa/Peavey-like metal tone unrivaled in this price range. You can even get "too much gain" sounds by switching the dirt channel back on and pegging it. The amazing part is that it's still clear! After all that, you'll amaze yourself by going back to the clean channel and turning dirt off. The cleans have so much color, you won't want to stop playing it. This is an amp you DON'T want to miss if you ever get the chance to play it. A true gem for a price that even I still can't believe.

Chris has vision and passion for great tone. It nice to see and hear an american company making qualiy gear for a great price. This is just the beginning and I am sure once the buzz starts it will be catching the eyes and ears of a lot of players. We wish you all the best.
