Elixir Strings Introduces New Stainless Steel and Improved Nickel-Plated Coated Bass Strings

The original nickel-plated Elixir Strings for bass, now have improved tone, feel and flexibility.



Anaheim, CA (Jan 20, 2012) —Elixir Strings announces two changes to its bass string line. Elixir Strings for bass are now available in coated stainless steel, with the bright, clear tone typical of stainless bass strings, but easier on the fingers and with a much longer tone life. The original nickel-plated Elixir Strings for bass, now have improved tone, feel and flexibility.

Elixir Strings also refined its patented, ultra-thin Nanoweb Coating especially for bass in order to produce a more natural finger feel and coating durability.

That's great!!! It is about time. I'll be trying them ASAP.

It's about time. Since they killed the Polyweb bass strings, they haven't had anything worth using. I really hope these are going in the right direction. I'll be the first in line to try them both out for sure.
