Fishman Debuts Presys+ Onboard Preamp System For Consumers

The Presys+ system provides maximum control and performance in a small, unobtrusive format.



Andover, MA (October 18, 2011) –– A mainstay of the Fishman OEM product line, the Presys+ Onboard Preamp System is now available to consumers as well.

Fishman Presys preamp systems have become a popular choice with leading manufacturers since their introduction in 2008 and are currently used in guitars by Martin, Fender, Washburn, Wechter, Vintage, Cort and more. The Presys+ system provides maximum control and performance in a small, unobtrusive format. It features Volume, Bass, Mid and Treble controls, a Phase switch, and a built-in tuner with LED display.

The system’s pre-wired Fishman Sonicore pickup is designed for solder-free, plug and play installation.

Presys+ also includes a low battery indicator, low profile control knobs and a unique pivot design for easy access to the battery compartment.

Beware Fishman. My Martin OMC-16E Maple came with a Fishman Ellipse Matrix Blend and I've had several issues with it (everything from wires rattling inside the guitar to vibrations from a mounting defect).
