I own the red dot Alpha Drive pedal and it sounds excellent, one of the better sounding overdrives I've tried. Watch the gearmanndude videos that prove that these pedals are not rebranded Joyo Ultimate Drive pedals, they have their own unique circuit that doesn't look anything like the circuit for the Joyo. There's alot of controversy around these pedals, but check out the Alpha Drive 2 vs. Joyo Ultimate Drive (gearmanndude) before you start frothing at the moth and making lame accusations...

How do these Freekish Bozos even get coverage, in light of how their "original designs" are JOYO $30 pedals??

I'm disappointed that Premier Guitar published this press release without acknowledging the controversy around Freekish Blues pedals. Marketed and priced as boutique but are actually far from it. I hope people do their homework before buying one.
