Fret King Introduces Black Label DBC Dave "Bucket" Cowell Guitar

The classic single-cutaway look is inspired by the instrument Cowell used during his tenures with Paul Rodgers' Bad Company and Humble Pie.

United Kingdom (December 13, 2011) -- Dave 'Bucket' Colwell has worked in cooperation with guitar guru Trev Wilkinson to create the new Fret-King Black Label DBC Guitar.

Featuring classic looks and outstanding playability, the DBC guitar (Model No: FKV1DC) is inspired by a workhorse instrument that Bucket has played for years to thousands of fans across the globe in his tenures with Paul Rodgers' Bad Company, Humble Pie and now with his own all-star band, Bucket & Co., who recently released their debut album – Guitar, Beers & Tears – to huge critical acclaim.

The DBC's no-nonsense single Wilkinson dog-ear WP90 single-coil pickup delivers spectacular and authentic vintage tones thanks to Trev's unique winding skills, and the guitar is light and comfortable to wear, making it highly suited to hours of onstage action. It also features a thumbscoop for great upper fret access.

Dave said: "The way the DBC guitar rings, even acoustically, is just incredible. I love P90 pickups - and I have done ever since I saw Steve Marriott and Mick Ralphs using them - so the Wilkinson W90B is the business. The thumb scoop is a great idea too, and it allows me easy access to those high frets, even when the guitar is slung really low. The DBC is exactly what it says it is – a pure rock 'n' roll guitar. I love it!"

Bucket's new guitar is just one of the all-new Fret-King Black label range, which is distributed worldwide by John Hornby Skewes & Co. Ltd.

4th'd! Just another boring wannabe! Bet it is an OK guitar but who cares! For that price there are more worthy Asian guitars.
