Since Gibson only made a limited run of these, I can only surmise the rare devil who can collect all 3 (Ebony, Goldtop, 'Burst) will have quite the set of electric 12 strings that will fetch a pretty penny some day. I've played and Ebony and it's like a Fender XII on steroids. Michael, retreat to your gramma's basement.

Well I got mine in burst. Love it and it's an investment axe. Heck, I need a truss just to lift it. As far as the Rick 12, got my 300. Now you want an affordable 12 string to play that is most excellent go with the Italia Rimni 12. Nice!

They already quit production on these Gibson Traditional Les Paul 12 Strings. If you don't have one you probably won't find one in the near future.

Nice idea....I'm thinking Goldtop...very nice.
.
Gibson guitars cost a lot of money....Too much? It's a personal thing.... It's taken me almost two years to get the money up for my Jackson Browne acoustic.

Save your money till you have enough, or buy an Epiphone...

Michael; Please let me know when you produce something better on the mass market with our best interest at heart... Good luck with that...

For that price , I'd rather buy a Rickenbacker 12 string.

I would also like to see Gibson come out with a 12-String Firebird Model- Perfect tone for a 12 String set-up. Oh, while you're at it, can you make mine Left-Handed, please ?

Just another example of the lack of creativity in modern-day, corporate guitar. If we continue to support the bad behavior of these (so called) icons of the music industry by giving them our money without questioning whether or not they have our best interest at heart or theirs, they will continue to disappoint.
