That ridiculous logo is an glaring atrocity on an otherwise spectacular guitar. You'd have to be crazy in love with Hagar to purchase this testament to a wholly forgettable group in which he's not even the guitar hero! WTF?? My suggestion is to purchase the LP Traditional Pro in Wine Red finish.. same guitar sans crappy logo.

Yeesh, pretty soon they're going to just start slapping an extra sticker on and marking it up another $2000. Oh wait, THEY JUST DID!!

The headstock is out-of-place. Sure Chickenfoot is Sammy's latest project, but that is not what he known for.
Sammy's red Les Paul that he uses in Concert has a Red-Alien on it. That would have been a better idea.
As for as price, it is cheaper than the EVH Wolfgang.
I doubt that Sammy fully designed this guitar.

Guys, talk is cheap. If you want *real* Gibsons why don't you stop complaining and put your money where your mouths are and support Heritage guitars. Oh wait, it doesn't say Gibson on the headstock. Dang!!!

Out dated, over priced, Gibson is stuck in a time warp. The quality today is nowhere near what their price tags suggest.

That's funny since Sammy is listed as a Yamaha endorsee and it has the cabo logo engraved in the fretboard

I've bought 3 Gibsons in the last 5 years.A Les Paul trad pro $1600,a faded SG,$650,and a ES135 $899.All brand new all of them play great sound great and were made in America by Americans.Gibson could very easily put there name on Korean or Mexican made guitars but they have'nt.That says a lot about there integrety. That guitar will probubly sell for $2000 and I'm sure it's worth it if your a fan of Sammys.

It's awesome to read all these negative comments about the current gibson products-cause it means the buying public is finally starting to realize that henry & the gang are just making widgets! and have been all along-they pull any old model out the history bag just to put some celebs name on it & a price tag to match-All in the name of PROFFIT. I mean if you really think about it- "gibson-made" Les pauls (for example) are forgeries !! thats right-they have been re-issuing them for years now & not once have they ever got it right with every detail nor are they really hand-made and use Hide glue like an original was. Has henry even ever actually built a guitar with his hands and does he even play ??? henry should bow-out & turn it over to the guys in kalamazoo where the REAL gibsons were made then we'd all start buying them again.
