How did all these half thought nonsensical comments make it to this page? Ive owned MANY guitars (and made a frankenstien of my own that played pretty decent too) and i dont understand how people can rip on Gibson. Anyone heard of Lucille? im sure NONE of you jokes have played a genuine 60s-70s Gibson and can say anything bad about it. My '67 Flying V is one of the best guitars ive ever played to this day, even friends with thousand dollar ESP customs cant believe the tone and action in my guitar is superior. Just bought this new 7 string... no need for downtuning on my 6 stringers.

the street price is just $1389. and if you buy from musician's friend or guitar center during sale, you can get 15% off easy. so stop whining about the MSRP.

It is incredible how people tend to rave about Gibson when they read a PR review of a PRS, but when you get onto a Gibson review, they cant stop talking about how shit Gibson is. And this for Americans. I thought you were proud of your American Guitar makers.
With that said, I tend to agree. Bored with Fender and Gibson. When last have they brought out a new model. Constantly relying on the past successes. Grow up guys. You some of the oldest guitar manufacturers in the world, and yet the newbies are WHIPPING YOUR ASS.

This guitar has almost everything i hate about guitars. Gold hardware, that will be stained and oxidate. EMG's that sound dull and lifeless no matter which wood they are thrown in. 7strings, a scratchguard, no inlays, and a pricetag thats outta here. They should have thrown in a floyd rose and it would be complete.
