Elk Grove, CA (January 8, 2012) – Kauer Guitars is proud to introduce the Starliner, the first completely new Kauer model in the last 4 years. The Starliner is the culmination of 2 years of research and devolopment. Doug Kauer set out with a simple goal, to build a guitar that would appeal to traditionalists without sacrificing the aesthetic and ergonomic benchmarks of the Kauer Daylighter. Using prized vintage instruments as a tonal benchmark, the Starliner achieves a perfect blend of vintage tone with modern playability and stability. The Starliner is available from all current Kauer Guitar dealers.

• Spanish Cedar body and neck
• Eastern Maple cap
• 24.75" Scale, 12" Fretboard Radius, Jescar 47095NS Frets
• Wenge Fretboard with Maple binding
• Vintage Pearloid inlays
• Wolfetone pickups (specifically wound for Kauer Guitars)
• Sperzel Tuners, CTS Pots, TonePros hardware

why bother? these are handmade not cnc, better quality control and hardware, they come stock with sperzel locking tuners they have an extreme rejection rate on timber over all, and they play and sound better than any les paul you can pick up these days
