Gibson brings back the Kramer Pacer with a few tweaks

Nashville, TN (October 15, 2009) -- Kramer Guitars, now part of the Gibson family of brands, has announced this fall's release of the Pacer Classic. Based off of the '80s shred classic 1983 Kramer USA Pacer, the Pacer Classic models the body, neck, electronics, and look of the original.

Features include '80s block-letter Kramer logo, one-piece 25.5" scale maple neck with jumbo frets and dot inlay, mahogany body, Alnico humbuckers, Floyd Rose, Volume/Volume/Tone controls and a 3-way mini toggle. Changes made to the original specs include a treble bleed mod to the volume controls and truss rod adjustment moved to the headstock.

The Pacer Classic will be available in Pearl White or Candy Red, and will be available this fall.
