Fort Wayne, IN
(June 4, 2008) -- More stuff from GearFest 08... we stopped by to chat with the guys from Martin to see what's new. They showed us the Lawrence Juber Signature (OMC-18 LJ) -- a picture of simplicity without "gingerbread," featuring the highest quality tonewoods this side of Brazilian rosewood. After that was the $10,000 D-45 V, which harkens back to the pre-war D-45s with hand-inlayed abalone. Finally, we looked at the Crosby, Stills and Nash guitar, which features dedicated inlay for each member of the band.
We'll be bringing you videos of the anniversary models and some of the instruments inside the Martin museum later this month.
