NAMM VIDEO: APHEX 1402 Bass Xciter for Acoustic Guitar

by Premier Guitar

Anaheim, CA (January 30, 2008) - We dig how versatile APHEX stuff is... just check out how their 230 Master Voice Processor is able to shape guitar tone! In this video we check out how their 412 Bass Xciter can clean up and round out your acoustic guitar tone -- think of it as more of an enhancement than an effect.

In this demo you'll see how to properly dial in your guitar's specific resonant range to allow the 412 to do it's thing. We engage it and disengage it several times during the demo. (The difference is impressive, even though we lose some audio quality via YouTube's compression process.) That's Tim Thompson playing guitar.
