Orange Announces the Dark Terror Amp

The 15-watt Class-A amp is designed to have tons of gain and great responsiveness to address the needs of heavy metal and rock guitarists.
Frankfurt, Germany (April 4, 2011) -- Orange Amps has announced the new Dark Terror amp, which combines the shape control of the Thunder series with the weight and size of the monster Terror family. The 15-watt, class A amp is designed to have tons of gain and great responsiveness to address the needs of heavy metal and rock guitarists.



Features:
* New high-gain preamp with three ECC83/12AX7 tubes
* Valve driven effects loop with one ECC81/12AT7
* Four stages of gain
* 15-watt class A, switchable to 7 watts
* Weighs in at only 7 kilograms/15 pounds
* A gig bag

The Dark Terror will be available May 2011 and priced at £399 including VAT (about $640 USD).

on 06/01/2011 		I have the Tiny Terror Combo, installed Mercury Tranny's, and more gain is not what this puppy needed, it's headroom!

on 04/11/2011 		Curious to see/hear how this compares with the Night Train and original Tiny Terror. I thought the Night Train was supposed to be the "heavy" lunchbox offering. Kudos on the effects loop.
