Fan bids $11,000 to jam with idol Brian May

Blabbermouth.net tell us one Queen fan bid more than £7,500 (about $11,000) at a charity auction in London for a private lesson with idol Brian May. The two-hour, one-on-one jam session with May happened at his home following the auction Wednesday night. The auction was held in support of the Action for Brazil's Children Trust.

It was May's first ever private lesson, which certainly raises the value... How much would you pay for a lesson with your hero?

I'd pay 3000/4000 euros or something for a jam/lesson with Brian May or Eric Clapton

sorry, guitarists are human beings. i am a human being. and a guitarist. i could not care less about an autograph much less a 5 figure lesson. there are are guitarists who's playing i love but i would not pay that. were i to be able to afford 11k for charity, i would be more interested to know exactly what my donation was going to accomplish.
