RIFFS: Satriani's Chickenfoot Pedalboard

Premier Guitar

A look at Joe Satriani's Chickenfoot pedalboard, plus Chickenfoot's latest videos

Twitterer Guitar Lifestyle found this photo of Joe Satriani's pedalboard for Chickenfoot. Looks like he really does rely heavily on his signature pedals. You can check out the rest of the photographer's photos of the band on Flickr. If you're craving more Chickenfoot, the band has also launched a "12 Days of Chickenfoot" campaign on YouTube where they post a new video of themselves talking about a different Chickenfoot song each day.

If you want to see more live rigs, check out our video rig rundowns. 311's Tim Mahoney talks us through his cool board in our latest.

I love his playing. If you don't like him that's fine, but why would you walk out just because he uses his whammy bar? Bizarre.

"satch is god!!! "

I just don't worship at that alter. Saw him once with Eric Johnson. I stayed for Eric's set but I can only take so much of that Satch delayed whammy bar thing...I walked out. To each their own, but I've never heard him play anything that absolutely floored me. I think Vai is a lot better in that genre.

I totally agree with Robert. Whether you like him or not, you have to appreciate that he uses the boxes that have his name on them.

A fan. ^_^ Thanks for the pointer to this pic. It’s always nice to see artists actually using the gear they endorse.

Not really a fan, I wonder what he sounds like on an acoustic?
