Robin Trower fans nationwide will have a chance not only to experience their idol in concert this summer, but also to win a signature model Fender Custom Shop Robin Trower Stratocaster personally set up by Custom Shop Senior Master Builder Todd Krause, who sets up all of Trower’s guitars.
Ever since his earliest success with Procol Harum in the 1960s and his subsequent prolific solo career, Trower has been the premier exponent of impeccably phrased U.K. blues psychedelia. His 2009 North American tour ranks among his busiest ever—the first leg kicks off May 26 in Agoura Hills, Calif., and continues through July 11; the second leg commences Sept. 11 in Atlantic City, N.J., and continues through Oct. 24.
At each tour date, the Fender Custom Shop Robin Trower Signature Stratocaster that will eventually go home with one lucky fan will be on display. To win the guitar—which will be autographed by Trower—fans need only sign up at the shows or at their nearest Fender Custom Shop dealer. It’s a rare opportunity for a true Robin Trower fan to win not just a finely crafted Custom Shop signature model, but one that has actually been in the talented hands of both Trower and Krause.
