The minds over at Specimen Guitars are kind of nutty. Luthier Ian Schneller has built items like the
Pac Man Guitar and the
Peanut Guitar (you can guess what each look like). We think he's outdone himself with the ambitious

To make matters even cooler, Specimen also hosts the
Chicago School of Guitar Making, which hold lots of classes on things like
setup and maintenance,
fretting,
