Chicago, IL (January 12, 2013) -- Introducing the Thrasher Series from Randall. This is about metal, all about metal. Old School to New School to No School...This uniquely original Mike Fortin-designed 120-watt head and deeply tuned cabinet range is set to be the standard for over the top gain, tight focused attack and crushing tone for rhythm, lead and everything in between at any tuning from A down to Z.

Current Models include:

  • THRASHER –120 watt high gain amplifier head - 2 Channel/4 Mode with Boost, tube fx loop, XLR out, metal grills and corner edging for heavy duty road use.
  • THRASHER412A – Deep Angled 4x12 400 watt Closed Cabinet with Celestion G12H100 Speakers with metal grills and corner edging for heavy duty road use.
  • THRASHER412S – Oversized Straight 4x12 400 watt ported Cabinet with Celestion G12H100 Speakers with metal grills and corner edging for heavy duty road use.
  • THRASHER212 – deep Angled 2x12 200 watt Closed Cabinet with Celestion G12H100 Speakers with metal grills and corner edging for heavy duty road use.

WE I WAS AT THE NAMM show yesterday ... got to hear the Thrasher amp .. although the Namm show isn't the best place to hear an amp ... it still sounds pretty impressive ... I talked to Mike Fortin ... and some of there other Randall Reps ... the Amp is designed here and Manufactured in China

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!! I can't wait to put my greedy little hands on one of these Thrashers... :) @GG & mike: I say made in USA stuff are no better than chinese... (maybe more expensive) and I say that after spending 2 weeks eliminating the humming coming from my V2 (made in USA) due to cheap undersized components...

This thing is crushing. Simply crushing. I've never played through anything like it. (aside from the Fortin NATAS, from which it's design is based) Tightest response of any high gain amp I've ever heard. Cheers, Joetown
