The ROS-697 is limited to 10 pieces and features intricate inlay and Brazilian Rosewood



Brisbane, CA (July 1, 2009) --The Recording King Custom Shop  introduces an all-new Century Studio Series Custom Shop Model, the ROS-697.

The 12th Fret 000-style body is based on a historic 1927 12th fret 000 design.

ROS-697 features:
  • Hand-selected AAA Sitka spruce top
  • All solid rare Brazilian rosewood back and sides
  • Solid one-piece mahogany neck with an overlay of Brazilian rosewood on the peghead 
  • Ebony fingerboard inlaid with Greg Rich-designed Tree-of-Life mother-of-pearl inlay covering the full fretboard
  • Built with an ebony pyramid slot-through bridge and maple bridge plate 
  • Grained ivoroid binding on the neck and body 
  • Ivoroid bridge pins with abalone inlay
  • Scale length of 25.4" and a nut width of 1-7/8"
  • Gold-plated Grover tuning machines

    Only 10 pieces of the ROS-697 will be made. They are covered by Recording King's lifetime warranty.
