Reverend Announces Major Changes to the Jetstream Series

The Jetstream 290 will become the Jetstream 390, giving the guitar a thick tone and an abundant midrange.

Livonia, MI (April 11, 2012) – Reverend Guitars is renovating the Jetstream Series this spring! The Jetstream 290 will become the Jetstream 390, giving the guitar a thick tone and an abundant midrange. It will be available in Rock Orange with a Maple neck, or 3-Tone Burst with Rosewood fretboard. The Jetstream HB will now come in our new favorite color, Deep Sea Blue, with a Maple neck or Violin Brown with a Rosewood fretboard. All of the Jetstreams will now feature Wilkinson Trems.

Like all Reverend guitars, the Jetstreams are made out of Korina wood, making them resonant and lively and wonderfully consistent. They also feature the Reverend Bass Contour, a passive bass reduction control giving you more versatility in each guitar.

Gammer, i own an early USA Rocco and an early first run of the Reverend Charger 290 gold top; in terms of fit, finish, action and playability, i'd call it a tie. They're both excellent guitars, just a little different in styles. Just because they built them on machines in Korea instead of machines in Michigan doesn't change much. I guess I'm "color blind" when it comes to where a guitar originates from. For me, the end product says it all; and BOTH these Reverends speak for themselves when you play them.

When they bring them back and make them in the USA...maybe I'll look again. Now they're just another mid range import.

like to see that 390 in the deep sea blue finish with a rosewood neck (ebony, even better!)...
