Livonia, MI (March 1, 2013) -- Reverend Guitars is now o ering optional factory Bigsbys on four of the models, but only in specific colors. The Club King RT in Rock Orange and the Club King 290 in Deep Sea Blue are getting the
tailpiece, as well as the Manta Ray 290 in Turquoise and the Manta Ray HB in Tobacco Burst.
The bolt-on Club King model delivers the acoustic overtones of a full-size semi-hollow, but with extra
clarity and punch from the 25.5-inch maple neck. Here, the Bigsby B-50 is a natural t. The set-neck semi-hollow
Manta Ray model is warm and lively. Round enough for jazz, this guitar also has plenty of sustain and attack for
rock and blues. It’s getting the Bigsby B-70 to complement all its tones.
On both models, the back, sides and center block are produced from one slab of Korina, which is routed
from the top, and then capped with a solid top. The Manta Ray top is Maple, while the Club King is Spruce.
Excellent sustain and attack are coupled with substantial resonance, for a uniquely big and responsive tone. All
Reverends have a Korina body for consistency and clarity, pin-lock tuners, and the exclusive Reverend Bass
Contour, which adjusts the low frequencies in the same way that the tone control adjusts the highs.
