  • The Beatles played their last on-stage performance

Radiohead Scraps Free Album Idea

You've probably heard too much about the whole Radiohead gives away album at consumer-decided price, especially since a slew of other bands have since copied the idea. However, the band has come out stating they will no longer approach sales with the "pay your own price" pitch. Radiohead's front man, Thom Yorke, said the idea was made for a moment in time, but probably wouldn't have the same significance in the future anyway.

The band is also in the news for using one of their songs in the fight against sweatshops and human trafficking.


Nelson's Birthday Bio
