SKB Releases Custom Sennheiser EW Series Mic Case

These cases are molded of ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, featuring a gasketed, water and dust proof, submersible design (MIL-C-4150J) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage.

Orange, CA (December 26, 2012) – SKB has announced new iSeries custom watertight microphone case for the Sennheiser EW wireless microphone systems, the new 3i-1711-SEW. Here are the details from SKB:

The case is based on SKB’s iSeries Injection Molded Mil-Standard Watertight style of cases. These cases are molded of ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, featuring a gasketed, water and dust proof, submersible design (MIL-C-4150J) that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage. The cases include stainless steel molded-in hinges, patented “trigger release” latch system, comfortable, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handles and automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C).

The custom cut PE interior foam is designed to securely transport the entire Sennheiser EW Wireless Microphone package; the receiver, antennas, handheld mic transmitter, body pack transmitter, lavaliere microphone, mic clip, power supply, a spare set of AA batteries and additional accessories. “Whether you’re on the way to a band gig or corporate presentation you can be confident all the components of your Sennheiser wireless system will be safe and easy to find in one case” states Will Steven, SKB Product Manager.

This case measures 17” x 11.5” x 6” and is covered by SKB’s unsurpassed Lifetime Warranty and will be available at retailers in February, 2013. The estimated US Street Price of the 3i-1711-SEW Watertight Sennheiser Wireless EW Series Mic Case is $129.99.
