We take a look at some relic'd beauties from the Fender Custom Shop

Nashville, TN (June 30, 2008) -- Catching plenty of eyes at Summer NAMM was the Fender Custom Shop's expanse of relic'd guitars. The guitars are convincing enough to make onlookers ask how old they actually are. We talk with Mike Eldred about the Custom Shop and some of the newer guitars they brought, including the Yngwie Malmsteen and Andy Summers Signature models.

It's a dirty job but somebody's gotta do it! He is moppin' the stage with his Jazzmaster while others get the rub. Fender is honoring a Jazzmaster guitar. Davie is playing his honorable!LISTEN TO THE GUITAR MAN!

Janitorial Editorial Jazz Master on 08/19/2008	Davie Allan's music from his Fender Jazzmaster is like stopping at a truck stop and it looks like a normal hot dog until you bite into it. Then there's a rumbling down inside that causes a gusher to expload forth and with sudden vicious velocity!Chunks and splatters of debris come flying out and no amount of air freshener can clear the atmosphere of the loudness that has transpired.This may be a crude example but it's not your daddy's surf music Jazzmaster. It's from the dark alley and painted black as girls walk by in their summer clothes. Fender is afraid to put that thing out!

Quick Joey Small on 08/13/2008	Make your own but use either Warmoth or Allparts. Perhaps Fender parts off ebay too. You be the custom shop then and save a bundle. If they made a Davie Allan model they would charge the mess out you for it!

Vincent Buxton on 08/08/2008	I hear there is a company that is going to do a knock off of the Jazzmaster that King OF Fuzz has and will approach him for endorsement. Maybe he will....maybe he won't But I prefer Fender's guitars.
