Summer NAMM - Old School Reissues from a Familiar Manufacturer

Premier Guitar

Nashville, TN (July 2, 2008) -- The retro thing isn't slowing down -- here's a clip for you cats who are going back and re-buying those early guitars you grew up on. Seriously, who didn't have a Harmony laying around back in the day? These recreations are true to their original form, but cost a little more now!

Jesus, I didn't know this company actually existed. I thought sears stuck that name on stuff back in the day. And hey don't mess with the eye candy. Me like.

Cool gear. Yes, the retail is a bit high, but $1200 retail translates to around 700-800 street. But please guys, get rid of the girl. As an interviewer, she's a bit on the lame side. She's better eye candy than talker.

Very cool, but pricey.

It makes you wonder how Harmony can afford to retool production to reproduce their hardware from the 50's/60's but much larger companies don't bother to reissue guitars with period correct hardware.
