T-Rex Introduces Møller 2 and Sweeper 2 Pedals

The Møller 2 delivers the same classic analog overdrive that made its predecessor one of T-Rex’s most sought-after pedals.

Montreal, Canada (January 1, 2013) – T-Rex Effects, the Danish effects pedal manufacturer, will introduce two “next generation” pedals to North America at the 2013 Winter NAMM Show: Møller 2 and Sweeper 2.

MØLLER 2 (Retail: $399 / Street: $299) - The Møller 2 delivers the same classic analog overdrive that made its predecessor one of T-Rex’s most sought-after pedals. Named after Danish guitarist Knud Møller, for whom the original pedal was designed, the fully analog Møller 2 features a more durable “Voice” toggle switch and easier-to-read control knob graphics. The pedals is armed with a 0-20 db Clean Boost, as well as a Mix control which lets you dial in the perfect balance between distorted and clean signals. Rolled all the way up and with distortion maxed, the pedal sounds just like a vintage tube amp at full volume. Roll the Mix knob back a bit, and your clean signal starts to get through; if you pick lightly or roll back your guitar volume, you get a stunning clean, softly-clipping sound that retains all the feel and dynamics of your original tone, only bigger, louder and richer.

SWEEPER 2 (Retail: $269 / Street: $199) – Like its predecessor the original Sweeper, Sweeper 2 is a strikingly simple, intuitively designed pedal that does just one job and does it extraordinarily well: producing an exquisite chorus effect for the bass, giving bassists of all styles a new tool for delivering classic bottom end. There’s not a frequency wasted on tone that might work for guitar but not for bass. In addition to easier-to-read control knob graphics, Sweeper 2 gets an upgrade to its algorithm, meaning you get an even warmer, more gorgeous and more vintage sounding chorus effect no matter what depth or rate the pedal is set at. While the pedal can be used in mono, Sweeper 2 features L and R outputs which deliver a truly mind-blowing stereo chorus in a studio or in a stereo live setting!

Why is Moller 2 being difference than Moller overdrive? I am not seeing different in description, so why is new petal? I am thinking is new paint on old box! Liars!
