Shanghai, China (April 22, 2008) -- Redback Guitars' latest F Series electric guitars will be powered by Tonerider pickups. This latest product line will feature a range of Tonerider pickups including the Generator and Rocksong humbucker models, Classic Blues single coils and Tonerider’s flagship product, the Rebel 90 – a P-90-inspired pickup that fits in a standard humbucker route.
The F Series is Redback's first bolt-on neck guitar series. The guitars feature a chambered Queensland maple body with a 25.5 inch scale on a compound radius fingerboard, which enables ultra low action, yet doesn't fret out when you do the big bends. It also has Grover locking tuners designed for tuning stability; Wilkinson vintage-style tremolos; bent steel saddles; a two post pivot system; and a stagger drilled block, so strings pass over the saddles at an optimum angle.
Rodney Chan, co-founder of Redback, said, “The sound is supercharged single coil - fat mids, gritty and with plenty of bite. There’s no harshness here at all, thanks partly to the Alnico II magnets.”
This is the first collaboration between Tonerider and Redback.
