Veillette Guitars Introduces Custom Strings

Carefully designed for optimum tension, feel, and tone, these strings are gauged to work ideally with the scale lengths on Veillette instruments.

Woodstock, NY (December 25, 2011) -- Long recognized for innovative guitars in a variety of custom tuning ranges, Veillette Guitars are now proud to introduce private-label string sets for specialized tunings.

Carefully designed for optimum tension, feel, and tone, these strings are gauged to work ideally with the scale lengths on Veillette instruments, from the longest Baritone scales to Terz tunings and the ever-popular high-tuned Gryphon 6- and 12-string guitars.  Years of testing and development guarantee the best possible playability, intonation, balanced output level, and winding lengths.

Available sets include:
  • Gryphon 6 and 12, .009 - .042”, Bronze or Nickel
  • Terz 6 and 12, .009 - .047”, Bronze
  • Baritone 6, .014” -070”, Bronze or Nickel
  • Baritone 12, .015”-.080”, Bronze or Nickel

Phosphor bronze and nickel-wound sets are available for acoustic and electric instruments.  Prices start at $8 for 6-string sets and $15 for 12-string. The company says bass strings are coming soon.
