Walden Guitars Announces Baritone Acoustic Guitar Series: B-1 and B-1E

The B-1 and B-1E (Electric) are based on the Grand Auditorium body shape, have a 26 ¾” scale, a Sitka Spruce soundboard with Rosewood back and sides

Mt. Juliet, TN (January 3rd, 2012) – Walden guitars announced the release of the B-1 series of Baritone acoustic guitars for world-wide distribution. The B-1 series include features that seasoned guitarists will find favorable while keeping the price affordable enough for the aspiring guitarists as well. The B-1 and B-1E (Electric) are based on the Grand Auditorium body shape, have a 26 ¾” scale, a Sitka Spruce soundboard with Rosewood back and sides, a graphite-reinforced soft C profile neck with bone nut and saddle. A unique feature is an offset sound-hole with side port that allows the guitarist to experience the full range of the instrument while allowing space for our baritone specific bracing pattern. The B-1E will come with a Fishman Prefix Pro system with 3-band EQ, brilliance, notch and phase adjustments to customize the sound to accommodate a wide range of musical settings. Both the B-1 and B-1E will come standard with a Walden hardshell case.

“We wanted to give Guitarists a new voice, but in a familiar and comfortable form. The challenge was to ensure the instrument’s tone is balanced, full of low end, using a relatively small body shape,” says Jonathan Lee, chief designer at Walden Guitars.

B-1 Baritone MSRP: $1,099.00 with a street price of $799.99.
B-1E Baritone Electric MSRP: $1,429.00 with a street price of $999.99.
Both instruments will be available in January 2013.

Is good sounding guitar! But why hole is being in wrong place in video? Is unfortunate that factory blemishes version is being used in demonstration because I now am being not wanting to buy guitar. Maybe not hiring drunk worker next time? In my country sloppy worker like this is losing job and maybe not be able to get new one because who want to hire sloppy drunk. More guitar chop-chop less vodka!
