PG's Dan Berkowitz walks us through a video review of the Carvin
BX500 and BR410 cabinet. The amp is a 500 watt, Class D head, which
weighs a meager six pounds. The tiny head's dimensions are 3"x9"x14"
and the preamp is a 3-stage, Class A, which features one 12AX7 tube.
The front panel knobs include Contour, Bass, Compressor, Treble, Master
Volume and a 9-band EQ.
The BR410 cabinet is made of a cross
grain laminated multi-ply plywood and features internal bracing to
eliminate cab resonance. It comes loaded with four heavy-duty, 200w 10"
woofers, 1" Titanium HF driver.

Video Review: Vox Night Train NT15H Head
Jordan reviews the Vox Night Train
head. The Night Train is a single-channel 15 watt head that has a
switch for either Pentode (15 watts) or Triode modes (7.5 watts).
Another dynamic option is the Bright / Thick switch that accentuates
the high-frequency components for a clear, ringing tone (Bright) or
bypasses the tone circuit to boost the gain and create a chunkier,
heavier sound (Thick). Other features include 2-EL84 power tubes,
2-12AX7 preamp tubes and has knobs for Gain, Treble, Middle, Bass and
Master Volume.

Video Review - Fret King Green Label Corona 60 HB
PG's Bob Goffstein reviews the Fret King Green Label Corona 60
HB. In this video review, Bob walks us through the Corona HB's
appointments and the things that it make different from a standard
Strat. These differences include the integral neck, a humbucker in the
bridge position, a "Wilkaloid" nut, the laminated plastic pickguard
that features a "vintique gold 24 carat" design and the Wilkinson VSV
High Performance Vibrato System. The VSV Vibrato system was a pleasant
surprise for Bob who admits he's not a fan or regular user of vibrato
systems.

Video Review - Road Rage Pro Gear 8-Channel Looper
PG's contributor Tommy Bruner walks us through his latest Video
Reivew for the Road Rage Pro Gear Triple Bypass 8-Channel Looper (read
the Web-Exclusive review at, here). The 8-Channel looper comes with individual true-bypass loops, which
means you can have a separate true-bypass loop for all your pedals and
maybe a few loops left over for your future pedals, too. Not only does
the looper clean up your sound and let each pedal retain its full tone,
it is also a nice way to organize your pedals with one switching
device. Each Road Rage True Bypass looper can be customized to fit your
rig's needs.
