With age, Hamer has matured. I own 5 of them. all from the old Chicago factory. Every one of them is unique. Hamer made so many variations of their guitars you would be hard pressed two find two identical models. Great quality and great value.

I like Hamer guitars,my neighbor has one,and my rating is for the guitar itself, not for the two in the interview. The guitar however is sweet sounding mellow and it's very goodlooking.

I own an old Hamer USA Sunburst dual cutaway with Duncan '59's and it is one SWEET guitar. Has the same sustain block bridge as this Taledega. I bought that guitar with case at the Orlando Guitar show in '92 for $425 !

Owning a HAmer is a virtual Gibson, even better. QUality control is much higher. Most Hamers have thin necks. The 81 Special was made with the 59 LP cut in the back of the neck. In other words, playing it is like owning a 59 LP for &6-900.

Beautiful guitar. What type of neck shape does it have? price range? Also, in a demo one wonders what rig you are plugged into, and it would be nice to have some heavy metal examples/playing, chords, drop tunings, slide, chicken pickin', and other style of playing besides clean jazz or distorted jazz.
