I use the medium 11-52 set(orange Pack) on my Esp Willie Adler and Gibson Les Paul Custom guitars. I used to use DR tite fits but i was breaking them alot and i never liked Ernie balls or D'addarios, i always found the tone dying on them too fast and they too were really easy to break. And the coated strings ive tried didnt feel or sound good to me.I dont know why so many people use them- must be marketing. Anyways the Dean Markley reissue are monster strings. They are insanely crunchy and they detune well. I usually leave my strings on my guitars for at least a month (if they last that long) and these things have held up very well.I play doom stoner thrash punk in a couple different tunings and im very hard on strings. It did take a while to get used to the feel. DR and Dunlop strings feel more comfortable to me but overall these vintage reissues feel good once you get used to them. Again they have some great tone. Crunchy molten lava searing tone. And mad props to Dean Markleys customer service dept. I had small issue with a pack of strings i got (one was missing) an they sent me an entire 12 pack. Very good company.
