Here's a walkthrough of two Seymour Duncan pedals that give you maximum controlled distortion in two diffrerent ways -- the SFX-08 Power Grid Distortion (available this Spring) and the SFX-04Twin Tube Mayhem (available now). The Power Grid is a high gain, solid state stomp with an active EQ section. It helps you saturate any signal cleanly, even the most precise tones from vintage pickups, and it gives you ridiculous sustatin. The Twin Tube Mayhem is a preamp with a built-in boost (4dB or 8dB, user selectable), made with Sylvania 62051 pentode tubes. Ideal for serious metal, it can also be harnessed for heavier old school rock.

Power grid sounds good with that amp and guitar. The other two pedals are harmed by that setup, especially the fuzz. They sound good inother vids.
