Brent is nearly untouchable, but I didn't find this video captures the depth of his, or Jed's, playing. I saw Rodney Crowell on tour a few years ago, and Jed Hughes and Will Kimborough were in his band. Both Jed and Wil are singer/songwriters, thus, their guitar playing tends to be very musical and melodic.

Damn, whenever I find a Brent Mason video, I immediately stop to watch. What a great player. Its easy to say he's underrated, but heck, with the career and gigs he's had, you don't get gigs like that being underrated or unknown. Would be nice to see that guy do a HELL OF ALOT MORE SOLO EFFORTS!!!!! maybe tour (thats a hint Brent, Please take it LOL!!!)

other than his politics which I totally cant agree with ..Rodney Crowell is an amazing artist, singer and one of the Mount Rushmores of Songwriters ...everything I aspire to be as an artist ...
