PG's Rebecca Dirks is On Location at NAMM '09 where she goes to to the Dean booth. In this video, we talk with Elliott Rubinson, Dean's CEO, about their latest amp endeavor; the Dime Amp. These amps and combo sets are designed after the legendary sounds and tones of Darrell "Dimebag" Abbott of Pantera/Damageplan fame. With the help of Darrell's long-time tech, Grady Champion and Dean's technicians, they feel these amps will get guitarists as close as possible to his epic tone.

The sweeps are diminished 7 arpeggios. The sequence is like the solo to Deep Purple's "Burn" and Yngwie plays something just like it somewhere on Alcatrazz' No Parole for Rock'n'Roll and/or his first solo album Rising Force.
