PG's Joe Coffey is On Location at Antone's in Austin, TX, where he hangs with the newly reunited Arc Angels (Charlie Sexton, Doyle Bramhall II, and Chris Layton) on the Gibson bus. In this video, the guys talk about their new live/documentary DVD, material for a new album and a new tour. Other topics include the band members' gear--their guitars, amps and effects--even Sexton's Sex Drive. They also share tips for dealing with monster pedal boards while playing for legends like Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan.

I've always admired this duo-guitar sound. Charlie's pursute to be more than a blues player has always inspired me to be more diverse as a player also. I probably won't get much sleep until I hear the new material. Good luck guys from an West Texas admirer.

I've been waiting for this for 15 years. I have followed Charlie and Doyle through all their side work... hell Charlie's use of the Prescription Experiance inspired me to get one for myself... very cool stuff. Can't wait to hear the album!

Holy Sh*T!! A new Arc Angels album?! Props to Premier Guitar for posting this informative interview. It made my day. Doyle Bramhall II has been my favorite musician since the early 90's (I was way ahead of Clapton... I knew Doyle was special the very first moment I heard him sing and play). It just killed me when they broke up, so this is the best musical news I've heard in a long time.
