PG's Chris Burgess is On Location in Frankfurt, Germany, for Musikmesse '09 where he visits the Framus/Warwick booth. In this video segment, we check out one of Framus' Custom Shop models; the AK 1974 Hollowbody. The AK 1974 has a neck through body and features 22 jumbo frets, a flame koa top and neck with Schaller locking machine heads.

Due to protectionism in the UK (and possibly Europe,) US brands were not available for sale to UK buyers in 50s and 60s, only Burns, Vox and Framus and Hofner were available to English players.
