PG's Joe Coffey is On Location in Petaluma, CA, where he tours the Mesa Boogie factory. In this video segment, we get to see the whole process of applying the Tolex to their cabs, including how Mesa technicians race against the clock before the glue on the Tolex dries. In addition, we check out the final assembly of grills, back compartments and the most sought after position in Petaluma-the technician that test drives all the amps before they leave the factory.

Really cool video series. I have a new appreciation for what Randy and the crew do. I have a Express 5:25, which is my first Mesa. I've been playing only point to point amps for the past 28 years, but the Express is a really good sounding grab and go small gig or practice amp. Good Stuff!

I've had a Mark 4 for 17 years now and it's been the greatest amp. About 14 years ago my wife and I visited the Petaluma factory - from the UK - and were given a guided tour by Tien. One of the high spots of a couple of weeks touring California :-)

I CAN'T SEEM TO GET THE BOOGIE VIDEOS TO DOWNLOAD. ALL I GET, IS A PICTURE OF AN AMP WITH A SMALL SQUARE ON THE LEFT TOP CORNER, WITH SOME COLOR GRAPHICS WITHIN THE SQUARE. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG.

Love the small shop vibe.

It looks like the Boogie is made in someone's garage !
