PG's Joe Coffey is On Location in Houston, TX, where he checks out the Spitfire head at Diamond Amplification factory. In this video, we get personal with Spitfire as we get a chance to hear and see this amp is all about. It is a 100 watt hand-built head featuring 4-Svetlana Winged C EL34 tubes, 6-12AX7 tubes [2-channel version] and 4-12AX7 tubes[1 channel version]. It also includes Volume, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence control knobs and comes with tube-driven effects loop and a 2-button footswitch.

I tried this amp and the Spec-Op.
It was definately the better of the two. The spec-op does the Nu Metal sound Ok but sounded useless beyond that.
The video is a good rep of what I experienced.
For me it's a good amp but not a must have...

That rhythm crunch sound is one of the best I've ever heard! The clean tones sound a little dirty to me. The lead is fabulous. If the clean could be cleaned up a bit more, this would be the amp for me.
